IV Infusion
Our hi tech nurses can administer your prescribed IV medications in the comfort of your home or office. They can also teach you how to self administer these medications as required by your doctor. These medications can be administered through a PICC line and use of a pump.

ADL's
Activities of Daily Living. These include bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and ambulation. Home Health Aides can help you with these areas of everyday life. Most long term care insurance companies require that you need assistance with at least two of these to be eligible to use your policy.
Wound care
RN's and LPN's provide dressing changes as prescribed by your doctor. Our RN's are also trained in the use of the wound vac.
24/7 On Call
Office hours in Broward and Dade are from 9a-5p. Delray from 8:30a-4:30p. After hours all phones are forwarded to an on call cell. You get someone who works in the office and handles your care on a daily basis. If you get voicemail,leave a message and your call will be returned promptly.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensend Practical Nurse. Provides nursing visits and hourly care in the comfort of your own home.
Medication Management
RN's and LPN's will monitor compliance with medication schedules as set forth by your phsician.
Home Health Aide
Home Health Aide. Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and ambulation. May also assist with light housekeeping and transportation as allowed by the payor source. Can live-in or work hourly.
Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse. Complete an intital assessment of all body systems. Provide dressing changes, injections, vital signs, administer medications, supervise other employees in the home.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistants. Provide therapeutic excercises in the home as prescribed by your physician.
Injections
Our RN's and LPN's can teach and train you how to self administer your prescribed injectable medications. If you just can't do it, they will do it for you.
CHAP Accreditation
CHAP (Community Health Accrediation Program) accrediatation certifies that we meet the highest recognized standards in healthcare. Maxicare Select has been CHAP accredited prior to the new ownership in 2004. We chose accreditation before it became a requirement.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants provide therapeutic exercises in the home as prescribed by your physician.

Qualified Staff
All of our field staff are licensed, insured and bonded. They are covered by Maxicare Select's workers compensation policy. Level II background screenings are completed on each employee prior to them submitting an application.
Veterans Programs
Veteran Aide and Attendants Program. Maxicare Select works closely with you through the application process so you can begin to benefit from the Aide and Attendants Program offered through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
